This event will share the main results of the "Hong Kong Social Movement Oral History Project" — Hong Kong’s 2019 Protests Amid a Half-Century’s Struggle: An Oral History. The editors, interviewers, and interviewees will be invited to attend the event in person to engage with the audience, discussing the importance of oral history for Hong Kong's diaspora communities and global resistance movements, as well as the future of Hong Kong's pro-democracy movement.
The first published work — Hong Kong’s 2019 Protests Amid a Half-Century’s Struggle: An Oral History (bilingual edition in Chinese and English) — has officially been released and will be shared at the event.
